Therapy & Support

How We Can Help

We offer a range of therapeutic support for individuals and couples. Whether you are experiencing a specific difficulty or simply feel that something doesn’t feel quite right, we provide a safe, supportive and confidential space to explore this together.

Our work is always tailored to you, drawing on our integrative training to meet your individual needs.

Our Approach to Therapy

We are integrative psychotherapists, which means we draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to support you in the most effective way.

Our work is primarily informed by:

  • Psychodynamic therapy

  • Systemic therapy

This allows us to explore both past experiences and present relationships, helping you to understand patterns, improve communication, and create meaningful change.

TYPE OF THERAPY WE OFFER

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a one-to-one space focused entirely on you — your thoughts, feelings, experiences and personal challenges. It offers time to reflect, gain insight, and begin to understand yourself more deeply.

We can support you with:

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Depression

  • Low self-esteem

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Life transitions

  • Loss and grief

Together, we will work at your pace to help you feel more in control, resilient, and able to move forward.

Sex Therapy

Sex therapy is a specialist area of therapy that focuses on intimacy, sexual wellbeing, and the emotional and relational aspects of sexual experiences. It can support both individuals and couples in understanding and improving their relationship with intimacy.

We can help with:

  • Difficulties with intimacy

  • Sexual communication

  • Rebuilding connection

  • The impact of stress, anxiety or past experiences on sexual wellbeing

  • Sexual difficulties such as erectile problems, painful sex, problems with orgasm

We provide a respectful and comfortable space to talk about topics that can often feel difficult to discuss.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps people process and recover from difficult or distressing experiences. It is particularly effective for trauma, but can also support a range of emotional and psychological difficulties.

EMDR works by helping the brain to reprocess experiences that may feel “stuck,” allowing them to be understood and integrated in a healthier way. This can reduce the emotional intensity connected to past events and support you in moving forward.

We offer EMDR therapy in a safe, supportive and carefully paced way, ensuring you feel comfortable throughout the process.

EMDR can be helpful for:

  • Trauma and past distressing experiences

  • Anxiety and panic

  • PTSD

  • Low self-esteem

  • Phobias

  • Difficult or overwhelming memories

We will always take time to understand your individual needs and ensure that EMDR is the right approach for you before beginning this work.

Couples Counselling

Couples counselling provides a space for both partners to come together and explore their relationship in a safe and balanced environment. It focuses on improving communication, understanding patterns within the relationship, and working through difficulties together.

You may be seeking help with:

  • Communication difficulties

  • Conflict or frequent arguments

  • Recovery after an affair

  • Feeling disconnected

  • Navigating life changes

We aim to ensure both partners feel heard and supported, helping you rebuild trust, connection and understanding.

Sexual Compulsivity & Addiction Support

This area of therapy focuses on understanding and addressing patterns of compulsive sexual behaviour, including sex and porn addiction. It can help individuals explore the underlying causes of these behaviours and work towards healthier coping strategies and relationships.

We support:

  • Individuals experiencing compulsive behaviours

  • Partners affected by a loved one’s behaviour

  • Couples working through recovery

This work is always approached with sensitivity, confidentiality and without judgement.
